MXP32 INC is a non-profit organization dedicated to honor a great man, loving father to his three sons and grandfather to three young boys, who was loved by many in the community. Marcus X. Parks Sr. was killed in Baltimore City in the line of duty working for Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) on October 8, 2020. Marcus X. Parks was known for his generosity and passionate support of youth sports. Marcus X. Parks Sr. would always make it his duty to inspire the young men with his touching words and actions through sports empowering them to become future role models and leaders in sport and society.
The MXP32 INC organization is determined to provide mental health and personal development programs and resources to help support the mental health needs and personal growth of young men living in Baltimore, Maryland. In honor of Marcus X. Parks Sr. legacy and passion for working with young men in the community, we will continue to pour our love, hearts and efforts to assist them with developing and maintaining a healthy mental and physical lifestyle.
MXP32 INC is committed to developing mentorship based youth programming that will help promote a healthy mental and physical lifestyle for young men living in Baltimore, Maryland. MXP32 INC consists of volunteer mentors and partnerships with the business community who work directly with male youth to help increase opportunities for young men in the community to prosper through mentorship, motivation, guidance, and support.
MXP32 INC focuses on recruiting, training and supporting local volunteers who will play an essential role in the enhancement of academic, social, personal and emotional growth of young men in our community by building meaningful connections with various adult volunteer mentors and tutors.
We want to continue to strive to be instrumental and be the pivotal shift in instilling a healthy mentality in every life we touch, by providing resources and exposure that will help develop new skills and knowledge that can enhance professional and personal growth. Exposure leads to expansion. Our philosophy is that male youth exposure to healthy & safe environments will promote to broaden their horizons.
The vision of MXP32 INC focuses to create mentorship programs and opportunities for young male youth to travel abroad that will cultivate an environment of learning, growth and development surrounding issues of mental health and violence to help reduce murder rates in Baltimore, Maryland.
MXP32 INC has sponsored over 200+ children and community members for the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas) over the past three years of our existence. We have gathered families who have faced hardships to fellowship while sharing a meal together. We have also provided families with live entertainment, motivational speakers and personalized gifts to help promote positive experiences and memories.
We strive to bring people in the community together to help create a sense of belonging through building connections within our communities.
MXP32 INC annually hosts “Back to School” events every summer for children and youth in the community to help prepare them transition into the new school year. Our goal is to make sure every child and adolescent in the community is equipped with school supplies/book bags, free haircuts, and activities for children to leave the event with positive mindsets, memories, and most importantly, beautiful smiles.
Our Youth program offers one on one and group mentoring opportunities for young men from ages 10-17 years old.
We are dedicated to developing and implementing programming that facilitates positive growth in the lives of the young men we serve living in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as bringing together their families to cultivate a sense of belonging and positivity within the greater community.
We believe that collaboration and teamwork with community businesses, members & partners, and other non-profit organizations will help young men achieve their best possible outcomes.
We believe in respecting and understanding each other’s differences, being responsive, open & honest, and showing humility
We will continue to advocate for the transformation and growth of the young men we serve by being supportive, engaged, and consistent throughout the process of their development.
We believe that building strategic and creative partnerships within our community through local businesses and agencies will enhance the lives of the young men we serve and is essential for the long-term success of the organization.
